BUA-Chicago STEM-Forum: A online partnering event with focus on STEM-Area
The BUA–Chicago Transatlantic Partnering Event brings together researchers, innovators, and institutions from two leading international research ecosystems to foster new collaborations in biotechnology, life sciences, and molecular engineering. Building on the strategic partnership between the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) and leading Chicago institutions, the event offers a unique opportunity to connect with experts, explore complementary strengths, and identify new avenues for transatlantic collaboration and innovation.
Berlin is one of Europe’s strongest hubs for life sciences, biotechnology, AI, systems biology, and translational medicine, supported by internationally recognized initiatives such as UniSysCat, EC3R, and Charité. Chicago contributes complementary strengths through the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME), a pioneering interdisciplinary engineering school advancing molecular engineering, biomaterials, immunoengineering, sustainability, and biotechnology in close collaboration with Argonne National Laboratory. This event provides an excellent opportunity to discover ongoing research activities, engage directly with leading scientists, and build future collaborations across two globally recognized centers of research excellence.
